Bike Team - 2005

Our bike team is a mixed group of racers, young and old, cross-country, and downhill, as well as road. When selecting members for our team, we set some strick guidelines. We require all of our racers to provide some level of community support, through volunteering. It is our way of giving back to the people who suport us. All of our riders must also be helpful, freindly, and promote our sport in a positive way.

Name		Discipline	Description
Lee English		XC, DH	Lee is the head of our team, and has been with us since the beginning. He has recently gained his level 1 cycling coaching certificate, and leads our junior group rides. Lee has had great success racing both downhill and XC disciplines, finishing in the top three in many races.
Eric Power		XC, Road	Eric has been racing for the last two years, and has come a long way already. Last year he saw great success in his XC results, finishing top three in a couple BC Cup races. Eric is our Wednesday night group ride leader, and a super nice guy.
Kris Johnstone		XC	Kris has been on the team for a couple of years, and has had great success in the races he has entered. We are hoping we can get him out to a few more, because the kid has a ton of untapped talent.
Warren Staff		XC	Warren is a Veteran racer. He will be tearing it up in the 24hrs of Whistler in September.
Mike Vukadinovic		XC, Road	Mike is a roadie at heart, but you will se him on his mountain bike from time to time. His experience with organizing road events helped us greatly with our BC Cup race this spring. Mike races Cat 3 road, adn has a descent season, featuring a 3rd in the local road race!
Nick Spottock		DH	Nick is new to the team this year, and is new to racing as well. He managed to finish halfway through the pack in his first race, showing great promise.
