Race in the second annual Stoked to Get Spanked Sun July 11.
July 11: Race the Stoked to get Spanked MTB race on 35km of sweet relentless single track and logging road. Expert 18+ racers will do the full 35km or 2 laps, all Sport 18+ racers will only do 1 lap or 17km, and then have a beverage. Anyone can ride in either category, our goal is to challenge people, make you thirsty and put a smile on your face! Race for $40, fees include bike fuel and your first post race beverage. 10am start, racer meeting 9:30 at the start area. The whole family can ride in this event! The U17 people can do a 12km loop, a 10:15 start, and we have a Lil' Spankies race for the 3+ people over 2km of single track, a 11 am start. No training wheels please in the Lil' Spankies race. U17 race costs $30 , and the Lil' Spankies can race for $15, both fees include a t-shirt. BBQ, prizes, beer and fun to follow.

You can sign up July 11 at the race site from 7:30 am to 9 am, or fax in an entry form before July 8th and we will have your race package ready for pick up Sunday mourning.
Race locations: Map of Stoked to Get Spanked 17km loop, 12km U15/17 loop. To get to the mountian bike race, from Revelstoke follow the Trans Canada Hwy (Hwy#1) west, over the bridge, to the Hwy 23S turn off. Travel down Hwy 23S for about 7.5 kilometres to the Mount MacPherson Nordic Ski Trails parking lot.
Race kit pick up: At Skookum July 10, 10 am to 6 pm, and July 11 from 7:30 am to 8:45 am at the race site.
Accommodations: Several local businesses are offering special racer discounts for lodging, camping and meals. You must let the bussiness know you are with the Stoked to Get Spanked event to receive the discount.
